After a long time of lurking, I’m FINALLY linking up with
Doodlebug’s Five for Friday! Here are 5 random things that happened during my
week…not too much classroom related as practicing for our first Holy Communion has been taking up a LOT of our time!
WE LOVE GO NOODLE! Saw it on a blog about two months ago.
Tried it, and I never looked back, but this week, we needed a lot of it to get
our scootchy little bodies moving! My munchkins are making their first Holy
Communion next Saturday, so we’ve been practicing like CRAZY and all that time
in church is making us extra antsy! Luckily, Rad Chad, Maximo, the Funky Chicken
and the rest of the GoNoodle gang are the perfect remedy for that!
My old iPhone 5 was on its way out, so this week I went
and got a snazzy, new, GREEN iPhone 5C! I’m ecstatic to have a phone that works
again!
On a very somber note…my community is dealing with a
tragic loss this week. A senseless act of violence over a prom proposal in a
local high school took the life of a beautiful, kind, and loving girl. People I
love knew her, were close with her, taught her. My heart is broken for them,
for her family, for the school. Please keep Maren, her family and the Milford
Community in your thoughts and prayers.
Some brighter news, after getting all that sad news
Friday during the day - I’m an aunt!! My stepbrother and his wife welcomed a
baby boy on Friday night! They were away visiting friends (one last get away
before baby!) and Baby decided to make his appearance a little early! Little
Guy is healthy, and his mama is doing well! I can’t wait to meet him (and take some pictures!) when they
finally get to bring him home!
Have a great weekend!
Found you through the link-up, congrats on your first appearance at Five for Friday! I love GoNoodle too (possibly even more than my class) such an amazing resource. And good luck with your giveaway!!

Thank you for stopping by! I enjoy comments because it's a pleasant reminder that people are actually reading my blog.
ReplyDeleteI recently found GoNoodle too, and my kids love it!
Sorry to hear about the loss in your community. I can tell it must be a small, close community, which makes these situations even more difficult.
Enjoy your new phone! I have that exact phone and love it!
